    So you have decided that it is time to start going to the gym regularly. You are ready to start working out, but where do you begin?

    Perhaps you want to try bicep curls first because you are curious about how strong your biceps are. Or maybe you want to do a leg press because your arms are tired from working all day and you want to give them a rest before you start those exercises. Maybe, rather than all of those, you want to try a treadmill for a half hour first to burn away some of the calories that you gained from that cheeseburger you ate on the way over.

    When you start working out, these questions may go through your mind every time you open the gym doors. But this uncertainty can lead to inefficient workouts, skipping exercises, and failing to achieve the results you want because you went in a poor order on one particular day.

    To solve this, many trainers teach what is known as "circuit training." Circuit training is a pre-specified exercise routine that involves moving from exercise to exercise in a specific order over a specific amount of time (as as though you are moving through a circuit).

    Everybody wants to get ripped abs, and so they spend endless hours doing all sorts of workouts only to realize they aren't really getting anywhere. Chances are, this is because no matter how good their exercises are, their diets are holding them back. Getting results means changing how you eat.

    This is not to say exercise isn't important. In fact, it will be the focus of this article. When you pair the tips here with the right diet, however, your results will be better than ever. In the meantime, work on increasing the amounts of various exercises that you do - unless, of course, your doctor advices against it.

    It's also important that you're doing the right types of exercises. Instead of regular crunches, try double crunches. For these, you should keep your elbows out of sight and your knees at nearly right angles. Pull your shoulders up as you normally would, but also pull your knees in and contract your abs.

    An exercise you might not have heard of is the side bridge. Starting from your right side, push yourself up with your right arm until it is fully extended. Then, extend your left arm up into the air on the other side as well. Hold this position as long as you can. It also works very well on your love handles.
